How To Order
Call 1-800-643-1120 or Fax 1-800-272-0158 with your order. If you have your customer number and part numbers, your order will be processed faster with less chance of errors.
After business hours, you may still place you order. The fax is always on and a recorder answers the phone after 5:00 PM on weekends and holidays.
Account Types
New Accounts - New accounts are easy to set up and always welcome. Just call or fax and let us know you need to set up a new account. We require a dealer application to be completed and signed, and if you have a fax machine, this can be sent immediately. We will process your application as soon as possible so your 1st order can be on its way!
Open Accounts - Customers with approved credit applications are allowed open account billing. Terms are usually Net 30, except during special booking programs where terms are often extended. A 1% penalty is automatically added to any invoces or charges not paid within terms. In addition to late penalties, any open orders may be held and/or the account changed to C.O.D. status until payment is received.
C.O.D. Accounts - Just the basic information and signature on the credit application are needed – no credit references. A C.O.D. fee charged by the company will be added to your DFA invoice.
Credit Card Accounts - We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. You may use them to pay just one order or have your account set to pay all orders on credit card. Credit card accounts must pay by invoice, not by statement.
At least $500 annually must be purchased to maintain an account with us. Accounts with less than $500 in purchases per year are subject to being closed.
Freight Credit On Most Items
If you keep your account current, you get Freight Credit on orders over $150 that are paid within terms! On Fridays only, this applies to faxed orders over $50. If an order qualifying for Freight Credit is paid C.O.D., regular shipping charges will not be added to the order, but the C.O.D. fee charged by the freight company will.
Freight Credit does not apply to whole goods (equipment) and other specified items. If your account is not kept current, it may be put on No Free Freight status as well as being changed to C.O.D.
Returned Checks
There will be a $12.00 service charge on any returned check that does not clear our bank. In addition to the service charge, the account may be placed on C.O.D. Money Order Only status.
Backorders
Occasionally we are out of something that you ordered and we must place that item on backorder. If you prefer that no backorders be held for you, please let us know and we will mark your account No Backorder. To cancel a backordered item, notify us within 24 hours of receipt of order. Our purchasing is done on a rotation basis, so please keep in mind that backordered items may not be ordered from our supplier the same day they are backordered to you.
Special Orders
Special orders are items that we do not carry in stock. We will be happy to order them for you, but there is a very strict return policy for special order items due to the extra work involved.
1. First, we must verify that our supplier will take the item(s) back. If not, we will not accept the item(s) for return and no credit will be issued.
2. We must be contacted within 10 days of the ship date.
3. An automatc 15% restock fee will be charged.
4. No credit will be given for freight charges, including freight charges back to our supplier and any factory freight charged when originally ordered.
Warranty
All of our products are guaranteed against defects in material or workmanship. Full replacement guarantee is made to the original purchaser for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This guarantee does not apply to any product that malfunctions due to improper installation, misuse, or negligence. All products are to be used for intended purpose only. If you should receive a defective part, notify our office immediately.
Returns
When you need to return merchandise, call our office and obtain an RA number first. We will ask for your business name and customer number, the part number and quantities of items being returned, and the reason for return. Merchandise should be unused and should include all original packaging, instructions, accessories, etc. Returns must be accompanied by the Invoice Number and Invoice Date. A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your credit on returns made more than 30 days from invoice date and/or do not include the Invoice Number and Invoice Date. No returns will be accepted after 90 days from Invoice Date.
An excessive amount of returns may result in the account being marked for 25% restock fee, no returns allowed, or the acount being closed.
Order Changes/Add-On's
We do our best to ship orders the same day they are called in. Due to these conditions orders usually cannot be changed or added to if it has been boxed and wrapped. A separate order will have to be placed.
Shipping Errors
Please check all packages to see there are no shipping errors. Also check all packing material to make sure no merchandise has been left in it. You must notify our office within 48 hours of any shipping errors. Please have your packing list number and date available.
Missing or Damaged Merchandise
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. If your merchandise is damaged or missing, you must notify our office immediately. If shipping boxes are received as damaged, you must note the damage on the freight bill or UPS log. If merchandise is not noted as damaged and you sign it as OK, the freight company will not pay any freight claims filed. Please have your packing list number and date available when notifying our office.
Pricing
Prices are subject to change without notice, but we will do our best to notify customers of price increases in advance.
